The Fight of Our Lives
A weathered American flag surges against a turbulent sky, its torn edges illuminated by bursts of light. The scene carries a sense of conflict and urgency, but also of endurance—the flag remains lifted, battered yet still moving forward.
The Fight of Our Lives is a reflection on the long struggle to preserve the ideals of freedom. The scars in the fabric speak to sacrifice, division, hardship, and the generations who have carried those ideals through uncertain times. The bursts of light suggest that even in moments of darkness, hope and resolve endure.
This painting is about more than one moment in history. It is about the responsibility each generation inherits—to remember what freedom has cost, to protect what has been handed down, and to decide what will be carried forward.
